We are a small, family-owned and operated business that has built and rents tiny houses on wheels to tourists visiting the Hocking Hills area. We take pride in making sure that our guests have a great tiny house experience while visiting the Hocking Hills.
We offer several tiny houses on wheels options that are all located near Lake Logan. Several are located in the Hocking Hills' premier campground, Campbell Cove Campground, and two are located on a private wooded hillside.
You can book a property with Hocking Hills Tiny Houses by visiting our website (www.hockinghillstinyhouses.com), selecting the tiny house and dates you want, and completing the booking process. You can also call or text Matt at (614) 571-0973 to start the process. Our tiny houses can also be found on and booked through AirBnB, VRBO, and hockinghills.com.
Generally guests can expect to pay on the order of $250-$400 for a two-night weekday stay, and $400-$600 for a two-night weekend stay. Rates are based on supply and demand, so prices are higher during weekends and peak seasons. We have a two-night minimum stay and charge a flat cleaning fee, applicable taxes, and platform fees. Base price includes up to two guests, with each additional guest (up to four total guests maximum in some houses) is charged an additional daily fee.
Our Trillium, Juniper, and Gladiola Tiny Houses have the main bed in a loft to sleep two, and their seating areas convert into a second bed on the main floor to sleep another two. The Dahlia Tiny House has the main bed on the main floor to sleep two with a couch that converts into a second bed on the main floor to sleep two. The Hemlock and Dogwood each sleep two, with their only beds being on the main floor. We often have larger groups - multiple couples and/or small families - simultaneously stay in our Trillium, Juniper, and Dahlia Tiny Houses, which are quite close together which is nice for spending time together while having their own space.
All of our tiny houses are pet-free (except the Hemlock) out of courtesy for our cleaning staff and guests that desire or require an pet allergen-free environment. At our Hemlock Tiny House, we allow one dog under 30 pounds for an additional flat fee. No cats.
Check-in time is 4pm, and check-out time is 10am. We can often accommodate earlier check-in and later check-out times if requested, depending upon our various guest and cleaning schedules. If we can accommodate such requests, we charge $20 per extra hour.
The numerous state parks and nature preserves that make up the Hocking Hills area are spread out across Hocking County Ohio. Our tiny houses are located near Logan, the county seat, and are central to most of the hiking trails and very close (0.25 to 2.5 miles) from the main Hocking Hills Visitor Center. The nearest trailhead is about 2-4 miles away, and others are anywhere from 5 to 20 miles away. The digital guide that we send out to our guests contains all of our recommendations on the best places to visit while you're here, and provides directions to them and back to your tiny house!
There is a coffee shop a short walk from our Trillium, Juniper, and Dahlia Tiny Houses, with a few restaurants and a brewery just a bit further down the road. All of our tiny houses are within a 3-to 8 minute drive of several local (Logan) restaurants, coffee shops, breweries, wineries, grocery stores, markets, and shops, and Lancaster and Athens are only a 20 and 25 minute drive away, respectively.
