The Dogwood Tiny House is the perfect private spot to unplug and enjoy nature while having all the comforts of home. It is located uphill from the Hemlock Tiny House on a wooded hillside in the heart of the Hocking Hills. The Dogwood features a modern cedar interior with white and black accents, a queen-size bed, and a huge 7-ft by 7-ft window that seemingly brings nature to the indoors! (Don’t worry – there’s a remote-controlled zebra blind on this window for privacy and light control!) Our guests can eat dinner or play games at the kitchen table, prepare a great meal in the kitchen full of amenities (or head to one of the many great nearby places to eat and drink, including a brewery and a winery), or enjoy the great outdoors from the spacious deck that overlooks the hillside of mature trees that make you feel like you're in a tree house. The deck has an integrated fire pit with two Adirondack chairs, charcoal grill, and picnic table. This is a wonderful place to relax after a day of hiking one of the nearby trails, boating on the lake, shopping, or zip-lining. The driveway to the Dogwood is short but a bit steep – we recommend our guests drive an all-wheel or four-wheel drive (AWD or 4WD) vehicle.
The Dogwood Tiny House is equipped with mini-split air conditioning and heating unit for year-round indoor comfort; a kitchenette with portable induction stovetop, microwave, mini-refrigerator, toaster oven, pots, pans, dishes, mugs, glasses, silverware, cutlery, mini-Keurig coffee maker and coffee pods, paper towels, creamer, sweeteners, assorted spices, ingredients for s'mores; heated floors; super-fast WiFi; queen-size bed and all linens; large bathroom with hot shower, sink, flush toilet, towels, linens, shampoo, conditioner, soaps, toilet paper, makeup wipes, hair dryer; outdoor deck with picnic table, fire pit, two Adirondack chairs, and charcoal grill.
